A Reader’s Experience with ProMeris

PAAWS Success Stories 14 Comments »

Hi Everyone:

I am passing this on to be on the safe side:

This is a new product designed to be a more effective product than other flea/tick treatments that was just released this year. It is available thru a vet and not currently on-line. I got ProMeris this week for my 7 dogs (6 Huskies & 1 Golden-Airedale), and the results were debilitating for nearly all of them-including me. Since my incident this week, my vet has pulled it from distribution and alerted the manufacturer, Fort Dodge.

Here are my results: Within less than 2 hours after applying, 4 of my dogs had vomited from 2-4 times, 3 were disoriented and stumbling, 1was dragging his back leg, 1 was salivating. I had very similar symptoms like an allergic reaction-my lips were swollen, eyes very red, mucous membranes such as eyes, nose, and mouth were stinging. I was very disoriented - dizzy equilibrium and not able to drive. To make this a short story-all 7 of my dogs were admitted to the hospital for
veterinarian care, and 3 of them remained for care, IV fluids and observation for 24 hours. I was in the emergency room. I’m home now and so are the dogs. We’re all feeling much better. Vet bills were over $2,500 and Fort Dodge is paying for these. Not only can the product cause this reaction, it has a highly noxious odor that permeated the house and is just starting to dissipate after 3 days.

Your dogs/cats might not have the same reaction, but given my experience-I wanted to help you all become well-educated about the product.

PAAWS Helps Dog with Pancreatic Problem

Dogs, PAAWS Success Stories No Comments »

Hi Dr. Carol,

Meeka is doing quite well with her Pancreatic problem. Your PAAWS vitamins, enzymes and probiotics have helped a lot.  Do I adjust the dose?  Or maintain what she is on?   Meeka does not throw up anymore now that we have made the changes you recommended.

Thank you,

Jan S.

This is my little Maltese Beanie Weanie. He’s about 20 years old and doing just great. Approximately 5 years ago I had noticed that he was having muscle pain in the morning and was having difficulty walking.

I turned to PAAWS and it’s been a life saver. I am absolutely pleased with the quick results and greatly recommend PAAWS primarily because of the wonderful ingredients and also because it works so fast.

It was heart wrenching to hear Beanie Weanie cry in the morning and I felt so helpless. I am so glad that I found PAAWS because it has changed Beanie Weanie’s life. He’s such a happy dog and I have Dr Carol to thank for that.

Sincerely, Bethany

Dogs Detect Diabetes in People

PAAWS Success Stories No Comments »

Researchers in Ireland hope to prove that a dog’s keen sense of smell gives it the ability to watch over the blood sugar levels of diabetics.

Dogs have already shown themselves capable of leading the blind, alerting the deaf, and helping the physically disabled with daily tasks.

But researchers at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland, are taking the "helpful companion" idea one step further by gathering scientific evidence that could verify dogs can reliably detect dangerous blood sugar level drops in diabetics.

Reports suggest that some dogs can detect early warning signs of low blood sugar, called hypoglycemia by using their sense of smell to ’sniff out’ whether or not their owner’s glucose levels are dropping.

Hello.

You called last week to check on our dog, Tucker, asking for feedback.

I have to admit I was very skeptical of your claims and product.  However, my mother-in-law swore your product added three years to their dog’s life.

It took us a couple of years, but we tried what she had left over from their dog.  Within a matter of days we noticed a change in Tucker.  He was getting up and down with more ease.  He seemed so much spunkier and happier.  I am now a believer!  I am now also ordering more than one month at a time because I know your product works.

Thank you so much for putting the life back into our aging dog.  He is going to be 13 in July, but he acts like he did 6 or 7 years ago!

Sincerely,

Lesley

Honey Bear on PAAWS

PAAWS Success Stories No Comments »

Dear Dr. Carol,

clip_image002

Your PAAWS vitamins have been of great help with my dogs in the past. At one time I had a dog that could not even walk up the stairs in our home. My husband saw  an ad on TV for the PAAWS and we ordered them, they came right away and once I started my dog Honey Bear on the PAAWS she was like a young dog for several years, we kept her on them for some time. She liked the taste and they always helped her.

Sadly Honey Bear passed away earlier this past year, we miss her so. Now, I am getting them for my daughters dog, he is 13 years old and has a lot of trouble walking. His name is Dakota. I am so hoping they work the magic as I had with Honey Bear.

Thanks again Dr. Carol, I appreciate all your help more than words can express. Here is a picture of the dog that you kept going for a long time, with the PAAWS. If it hadn’t been for you she would have suffered so much. Thought you would like to see her. Her name was Honey Bear we called her Baby Dog.

Oldest Living English Bulldog

Dogs, PAAWS Success Stories No Comments »

Dear Dr. Carol,

My English Bulldog, Roc “Ann”, has been taking PAAWS for dogs since he was 7 years old.  Many people, including a few veterinarians, have told me that a bulldog’s life expectancy is typically between 8-10 years.

image Well, I am proud to tell you that Roc Ann was 13 years old this past October!  I truly feel that taking PAAWS vitamins is what has helped prolong Roc Ann’s life.  He is my best friend and companion and I am so grateful that he is still here.  I will continue to give him the vitamins and will recommend your product to all my fellow dog and cat owners.  Thank you so much for making a product that has made it possible for me to enjoy my dog much longer than I could ever have expected.

Sincerely,
Teresa

PS.  When he makes it into the Guinness Book of Records for the “Oldest Living English Bulldog”, I will be sure to mention your products once again!!!!!

PAAWS Success Story: Update on Gobi

PAAWS Success Stories No Comments »

Dr. Carol, sorry for the long delay with Gobi, but had several problems and I believe, have been improved or resolved.

Gobi has Sudden acquired retinal degeneration, but is doing fine with still some of his sight.  His left eye’s pupil does not respond and has the degeneration and he may continue to have more degeneration in his eye and perhaps his other eye as it shows some degeneration.  We went to an animal ophthalmologist.  He also was experiencing sores coming from an internal infection which now seems to be better.

I started giving PAAWS in July and he has improved very considerably and I attribute this to PAAWS, because I could see an immediate improvement.

Thank you for all your help and concern.  It made me change my vet and go back to a previous vet that I liked, but is much farther, but I will continue with him.  Thanks again and wish all vets were like you.

You can use this on your website if this helps.
